My latest album additions

I've been involved in some challenges lately on the CTMH Artwork Board. In most of my moods, I'm competitive so throw the word "challenge" at me and I'll take you up on it.

Anyway, Marjorie Enro posted an unusual color combo: Vanilla Cream, Taffy, Holiday Red, and Sunflower a while back. I haven't worked with any of those colors in a while and never those together. Here's what I came up with after our Chilly Hilly ride on Bainbridge Island. What a fun weekend that was at my sister Martha's house!

Then my next layout knocked off two challenges: Pam's OOYB (out of your box) challenge to use a chosen quote on a layout, and Marjorie's color challenge. This time the colors were: Outdoor Denim, Cranberry, Olive, and Indian Corn Blue. I added White Daisy. :) Aren't the roses Michael gave me beautiful? Pam's challenge was to use The Rose, by Bette Midler: "When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long, and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong, just remember, in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow, lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the rose. "

Gotta love a challenge to put you to the test!
