Wow!

Tiffany honored me with a Blogging award! I never saw this coming and never imagined I'd get one! Tiffany is from California and an awesome stamper. You can view her art by clicking here.

My award comes with responsibilities:
1) The winner can post the logo on her blog
2) Link the person you received your award from.
3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4) Put links of those blogs on yours.
5) Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated.

My nominations are:
1. Lynn, a fellow consultant who's blog I visit all too infrequently.
2. Yvette, who's style in so inspirational. Currently, it reminds me of soft, antiqued, Victorian but the moods she brings out in me changes with my mood. She truly is awsome!
3. Takisha, another blogger I visit. Though she is another CTMH consultant, I love her photos! She takes magical photos!
4. Alyssa, another great photographer. Her style of stamping is so clean and classic. I love reading about her family on her blog, too.
5. Marjorie. I know she has won this award before but I have grown so much participating her color challenges, I felt compelled to award her, again. I just love the unique colors she pulls together to really move my scrapping and card making.
6. Michelle has a great blog to read! She has a sense of humor and she shows how to put together her great layouts.
7. Naomi has a fun blog. She uses great new materials that fit into her stamping style so easily and naturally. I love how she uses newer designs and textures.

I hope you gain inspiration or appreciation from these blogs as I did.

Thanks, Tiffany!

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers #21 or is it Sisterhood of the Blogging Scrappers #21?

I'm taking the plunge and joining a Sisterhood! I'm a teacher and live in a quaint, small little waterfront town on Puget Sound in Washington. I have two grown sons and my oldest has even provided me with grandchildren, which are often the subject of my scrapping. I'm single but have a wonderful romantic associate (OK, a sweetie) in my life and we enjoy fine wines, road trips, reading, computers, biking, fine dining at home or on the road, and talking about the future.

Speaking of scrapping, I've been stamping for about 15 years and scrapping since 1997. I've been a Close to My Heart consultant since 1997 but I no longer sell anything except to myself. I have been stamping and scrapping long enough to see trends come and go, over the years. I used to demo for some stamp companies and attended a couple of CHA Trade and Conventions waaaay back when... It was interesting but the trends and techniques were happening so fast I got burned out and at that time, CTMH came out with "Back to the Basics". And so, 11 years later, here I am.

My style both in stamping and scrapping has changed with the trends over the years as most people's have. And I'm just as sure it will continue to evolve with new trends and materials. I am trying to find a balance, though between just a few new trends, keeping things simple, and keeping things affordable (LOL). I find I miss my stamping friends since I moved to Mukilteo as I haven't found many who stamp or scrap or enjoy socializing while crafting. I'm looking forward to inspiration and inspiring and just companionship in this hobby of mine.

You can read more about me here on my blog and I will start reading my sisters' blogs to get to know them. Please post and chime in when you visit, Sisters!
